White Scroll Icicle Ornament

Elegant White Filigree Icicle Ornament

The White Scroll Icicle Ornament takes the same intricate open-lattice scrollwork as our scroll ball ornaments and reshapes it into an elongated icicle silhouette — a teardrop form that drops gracefully from tree branches and adds vertical elegance to any display. Finished in bright white glitter, it’s a refined statement ornament for winter, wedding and elegant Christmas themes.

Icicle Shape — Vertical Silhouette for Depth

Most Christmas ornaments are round baubles. The icicle shape breaks this pattern by adding a vertical drop silhouette — pointing downward from the branch it hangs from, filling negative space that round ornaments don’t reach. Professional tree stylists deliberately mix ornament shapes (balls, onions, icicles, drums) to create depth and movement on a tree, and icicles are particularly effective at drawing the eye downward through the layers of foliage.

Open Design That Interacts With Fairy Lights

Like our scroll ball ornaments, this icicle uses open cut-out scrollwork rather than a solid surface — the light passes through the pattern, casting delicate shadow-and-light detail on the branches beneath, and the ornament itself glows softly. On a tree with fairy lights, the effect is genuinely magical: small elongated pools of light hanging vertically through the branches, especially visible in evening lighting.

Wintry, Refined & Wedding-Ready

The icicle shape has a naturally wintry association — it references frozen icicles hanging from eaves and roofs — which suits winter wonderland palettes exceptionally well. In refined white glitter, it also crosses over beautifully into wedding décor: elegant, sculptural, and neutral enough to work in any bridal palette.

Ways to Display This Ornament

• Hung on Christmas tree branches near fairy lights for the lantern effect
• Positioned on lower and outer branches where the vertical drop is visible
• Suspended from garlands, wreaths and mantel arrangements
• Hung individually at staggered heights in window displays
• Wedding centrepieces and elegant December event décor
• Photo backdrops and editorial-style event styling

Pairs With White, Silver & Winter Themes

This icicle is a direct match for our White 4ft Christmas Pine Tree, coordinates beautifully with the White Scroll Ball Ornament (same design language, different shape), complements the White Christmas Onion Ornament and White Reindeer Ornament, and pairs naturally with the entire silver ornament family for a coordinated cool-palette tree.

Mix Shapes for a Professional Layered Look

The most polished trees mix ornament shapes deliberately: round balls (main coverage) + icicles (vertical drops) + onions or drums (varied silhouettes) + character pieces (storytelling detail). This icicle is the vertical drop element in that mix — combining it with our White Scroll Balls and White Onion Ornaments creates a professionally styled white tree in three purchases.
