Additional information

Elegant White Scroll Ball Ornament with Open-Lattice Design

The White Scroll Ball Ornament features an intricate open-lattice bauble in bright white glitter, with elaborate scrollwork cut-out patterns forming the entire ball structure. Unlike solid glitter or matte baubles, this is a hollow ornament with delicate metalwork-style detail — designed to interact with tree lighting rather than simply reflect it.

Open Design That Interacts With Fairy Lights

The key differentiator for scroll ornaments is what happens when they’re hung near fairy lights: the light passes through the cut-out patterns, casting delicate shadow-and-light detail on the branches beneath and giving each ornament the quality of a miniature lantern. Solid baubles reflect light; scroll baubles transmit and shape it. On a tree with pre-strung LEDs, the effect is genuinely magical — small pools of light visible through the intricate scrollwork.

The White Version of a Design Classic

We also carry this scroll design in silver — the two share identical construction and finish quality, but read very differently. Silver reads as metallic and cool; white reads as refined, wintry and soft. Choose white for:

All-white and white-and-silver Christmas trees
Wedding-Christmas events (white is the universal wedding colour)
Modern minimalist and Scandinavian-style interiors
Warm-toned rooms where silver might read too cool
Nordic winter wonderland themes with snowy palette dominance

Baroque Elegance in Modern White

The scrollwork pattern evokes European baroque metalwork — the kind of intricate detail found in antique candelabras and heritage lighting fixtures. In white finish, it reads more contemporary than the silver version: refined and heritage-inspired without being formal or dated. It’s the ornament to choose when the tree needs to feel timeless and elevated in a modern setting.

Pairs With White, Silver & Winter Themes

This ornament coordinates naturally with our White 4ft Christmas Pine Tree, White Christmas Onion Ornament, White Reindeer Ornament and the entire silver family (Silver Scroll, Silver Foil Glitter, Silver Glitter and Silver Diamante Balls). It also works beautifully as an elegant accent on champagne, cream and blush trees where the intricate detail can be admired against a warm-toned backdrop.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this ornament sold individually or in a set?

Please refer to the product listing for the exact pack quantity. Scroll ornaments are often sold both individually and in multi-piece sets — check the listing for this particular size and pack format.

What size is the ball?

Please refer to the product listing for exact diameter.

Is it solid or open?

Open-lattice — the scrollwork pattern is cut out through the entire ball, making it hollow and semi-transparent. This is intentional: the open design lets fairy lights on the tree glow through the ornament, creating small lantern effects.

What's the "lantern effect" you mention?

When these ornaments are hung near fairy lights on the tree, the light passes through the cut-out scrollwork and casts intricate shadow-and-light patterns on the branches beneath, and the ornament itself glows softly. It's the kind of effect that's especially visible in dim evening lighting — small pools of light visible through the delicate lattice work.

How does this compare to the silver scroll ball ornament?

Same design, same construction, same lattice pattern — different finish. Silver reads as metallic and cool; white reads as refined, wintry and soft. Choose silver for modern minimalist and winter-wonderland themes; white for wedding décor, all-white trees and warm-toned interiors where silver would read too cool. Many customers buy both to layer texture on the same tree.

What Christmas trees do these pair best with?

Direct match for our White 4ft Christmas Pine Tree, and beautiful as accents on the Silver 8ft Sanford Fir, the undecorated Nordmann Fir styled for a white winter tree, and any champagne, cream or blush tree where the intricate scrollwork can be admired against a warm-toned foliage.

Is this suitable for wedding décor?

Yes — white is the universal wedding colour, and the refined filigree aesthetic works beautifully for December weddings, winter-themed events and bridal styling. Popular with wedding coordinators, boutique hotels hosting December weddings and event stylists.

Are they fragile?

The open scroll design makes these ornaments slightly more delicate than solid baubles — the lattice can be dented if squeezed or dropped. Handle carefully and store in protective wrapping or the original packaging off-season.

What lights work best with these ornaments?

Warm white LED fairy lights create a soft golden glow through the scrollwork — the most romantic effect. Cool white lights create a crisper, icier effect suited to winter wonderland themes. Both work; the choice depends on the mood you want.

Do you offer bulk quantities?

Yes, we supply scroll ornaments in bulk for weddings, hotels, event spaces and retail displays. Contact us for quantities and pricing.

Can I see it in person?

Yes, our ornament range is on display at the Craftway Floral showroom at KINEX Mall, 11 Tanjong Katong Road #03-35, Singapore 437157.
