Warm Embrace — Pink & Champagne Flower Basket
A soft, low-arranged basket in pink and champagne: rounded carnations, pink and cream roses, and champagne eustoma with their papery, ruffled petals, all lifted by silver-green eucalyptus. It’s a gentler palette than a red rose bouquet — warm rather than romantic, which is what makes it work for occasions where “I love you” isn’t quite the message.
What’s in It
- Pink carnations — long-lasting, and the flower most associated with affection, gratitude and maternal love
- Pink and cream roses — softer than red; pink roses traditionally signal appreciation and admiration
- Champagne eustoma (lisianthus) — the ruffled, rose-like blooms that give the arrangement its depth without adding weight
- Fresh eucalyptus — silver-green foliage that frames the palette and adds its own soft scent
- Handled kraft basket — twin arched handles, self-supporting, no vase required
- Complimentary message card, hand-written by our florists
Why a Basket Rather Than a Bouquet
A wrapped bouquet asks something of the recipient: find a vase, trim the stems, fill it with water — usually while you’re still standing there. A basket arrives finished. It sits on a bedside table, a reception counter or a desk exactly as delivered.
That makes it the practical choice in three situations in particular. Hospital visits, where wards rarely have spare vases and the handle makes it easy to carry in. Office deliveries, where a colleague has nowhere private to arrange flowers. And new-baby gifts, where the last thing a household needs is another small task.
Best Suited For
- Get well soon — no vase needed, easy to carry, gentle colours; see our get well flowers
- Mother’s Day and birthdays for mothers — carnations carry the association more directly than any other flower
- New baby and congratulations — soft pinks and creams without being saccharine
- Thank-you gifts — warm without implying romance, which makes it safe for colleagues, teachers and clients
- Birthdays and anniversaries — a softer alternative to red roses
- Apologies — pink reads as sincere where red can read as overwrought
Keeping It Fresh
Expect 5–7 days of vase life in Singapore’s climate with a little care:
- Check the water on arrival. Basket arrangements sit in a lined base or floral foam — top it up with cool water on day one and every couple of days after.
- Keep it out of aircon draughts and direct sun. Both dry the blooms far faster than heat alone.
- Keep it away from fruit. Ripening fruit releases ethylene gas, which ages cut flowers quickly.
- Remove spent blooms. Carnations and eustoma outlast roses — pulling faded roses keeps the arrangement looking intentional for several more days.
