How to Keep Them Fresh

1. Unwrap and trim the roses. Cut 2–3cm off each stem at a 45° angle under running water.
2. Use clean, cool water. Change it every two days and rinse the vase each time.
3. Strip submerged leaves. Anything below the waterline rots and clouds the water.
4. Keep away from aircon vents, direct sun and fruit bowls. Ripening fruit releases ethylene gas, which ages flowers quickly.

The dried wheat and caspia will outlast the roses by weeks — once the fresh blooms fade, keep the wheat and caspia as a small dried arrangement.
