A Softer, Fresher Take on Pink Roses

Most pink rose bouquets pair with baby’s breath, which is lovely but ubiquitous. Chamomile brings a different character — less formal, closer to something you’d find gathered from a garden than arranged in a florist’s shop. How to Keep Them Fresh

1. Unwrap and trim. Cut 2–3cm off each stem at a 45° angle under running water.
2. Use clean, cool water. Change it every two days and rinse the vase each time.
3. Strip submerged leaves. Anything below the waterline rots and clouds the water.
4. Keep away from aircon vents, direct sun and fruit bowls. Ripening fruit releases ethylene gas, which ages flowers quickly.

The chamomile and caspia will both outlast the roses, and the caspia dries well once the fresh blooms fade.
