Artificial Firmoss Hanging Plant One-Sided

A one-sided firmoss hanging plant with narrow, undulating, spiky fronds — a distinctive fine texture for green walls, unlike anything else in our range.

  • Size: ~70cm drop × ~50cm wide
  • One-sided (flat-back) build: mounts tight to a vertical surface with no gap
  • Foliage: Narrow, lance-tipped leaves with an irregular, cascading form
  • Use: Green walls, vertical frames, planter rims, shelf edges
  • Care: Dust occasionally. No water, no light, ever.

Building a green wall? This is one of five varieties in our one-sided hanging plant range, designed to mix — see the full collection or request a project quote.

Our One-Sided Hanging Plant Range

Firmoss is one of five one-sided varieties we stock, each with a genuinely different leaf shape and texture:

VarietyCharacter
Firmoss (this)Narrow, spiky, undulating cascade
FittoniaWhite-veined, dark green leaves
PodocarpusWhorled needle clusters with fern fronds
CaladiumPink-veined, heart-shaped leaves
PeperomiaSilvery heart-shaped, muted tone

Combining three or four of these across a wall breaks up the visible repeat any single variety produces on a large surface — the difference between a wall that reads as grown rather than assembled.

Frequently Asked Questions

What does "one-sided" mean?

The plant is built flat on the back and full on the front, so it sits flush against a wall, frame, shelf edge or planter rim with no gap. If the back will be visible — hanging from a ceiling hook, for instance — choose a full-round hanging plant instead.

What is firmoss?

Botanically Huperzia, also called club moss — a plant with narrow, linear, lance-tipped leaves that give it an irregular, undulating, cascading appearance, distinct from broader-leaved trailing plants.

How big is it?

Approximately 70cm in drop and 50cm wide.

Do you have other one-sided varieties?

Yes — five in total, including fittonia, podocarpus, caladium and peperomia. Mixing varieties gives a green wall genuine texture contrast.

How do I mount it?

Fix through the stem base with cable ties, wire or staples into a mesh, timber or frame backing. Avoid adhesive — it fails in Singapore's humidity.

Can it be used outdoors?

It suits sheltered semi-outdoor positions such as covered walkways and balconies. UV-stabilised outdoor-grade foliage is available for exposed outdoor walls.

Do you offer project pricing and installation?

Yes. We quote by area, supply to site, install and maintain for offices, hotels, retail and event builders across Singapore. Contact us for a quote.
