Happiness — Premium Kenya Red Rose Bouquet
Premium Kenya red roses with pink eustoma, white baby’s breath, eucalyptus and podocarpus leaves. Two genuinely distinctive ingredients set this apart from a standard rose bouquet: the Kenya-grade roses themselves, and podocarpus foliage, which most bouquets don’t use at all.
Why “Kenya” Is a Real Quality Marker
Kenya is one of the world’s leading rose-growing regions. Farms in the highlands near the Rift Valley sit at high altitude on the equator, giving roses consistent, intense sunlight year-round without temperature extremes. The result is roses with genuinely larger heads, straighter and sturdier stems, deeper colour, and longer vase life than roses grown in less favourable conditions. A significant share of the world’s premium cut roses originate from Kenyan farms for exactly this reason — the label is a real quality signal, not a marketing flourish.

What’s in the Bouquet
- Premium Kenya red roses — large-headed, deeply coloured, on straight sturdy stems
- Pink eustoma (lisianthus) — ruffled, rose-like blooms adding softness against the red
- White baby’s breath — the fine filler that lifts the arrangement
- Eucalyptus — genuinely fragrant silver-green foliage
- Podocarpus leaves — deep green, whorled needle-cluster foliage, a distinctive touch few Singapore florists use in cut arrangements
- Complimentary message card — write your message at checkout and our florists will hand-write it
Podocarpus — Not Just an Ordinary Filler
Podocarpus, known in Chinese as 罗汉松 (luó hàn sōng), the Buddhist pine, is more commonly seen as a mature landscaping specimen — a slow-growing plant with real cultural weight in Chinese tradition, associated with longevity and prosperity. Using its fine, whorled foliage as cut greenery in a bouquet is unusual, and it gives Happiness a texture genuinely different from the ruscus or standard leather leaf found in most rose bouquets.
Best Suited For
- Anniversaries and celebrations — the premium Kenya grade suits a milestone
- Birthdays — any size scales to the relationship
- Congratulations and joyful occasions — the name says it plainly
How to Keep Them Fresh
- Unwrap and trim. Cut 2–3cm off each stem at a 45° angle under running water.
- Use clean, cool water. Change it every two days and rinse the vase each time.
- Strip submerged leaves. Anything below the waterline rots and clouds the water.
- Keep away from aircon vents, direct sun and fruit bowls. Ripening fruit releases ethylene gas, which ages flowers quickly.
Premium Kenya roses typically hold for 6 to 8 days. Podocarpus foliage is especially long-lasting and will often outlast the flowers entirely.
