Gracious Heart — Pink & Champagne Hand Bouquet
Rounded pink carnations and pink roses with champagne eustoma, lifted by purple caspia and silver-green eucalyptus, hand-tied and wrapped in blush and mauve paper. It’s a softer, warmer palette than red — affectionate rather than romantic, which is precisely what makes it work for the occasions where red would say too much.
What’s in the Bouquet
- Pink carnations — long-lasting, and the flower most associated with gratitude and maternal affection
- Pink roses — traditionally signalling appreciation and admiration rather than romance
- Champagne eustoma (lisianthus) — ruffled, rose-like blooms adding depth and a neutral warmth
- Purple caspia — the airy filler that gives the bouquet volume and sets off the pinks
- Eucalyptus — silver-green foliage with its own clean, cool scent
- Complimentary message card, hand-written by our florists
Why the Purple Matters
Most pink bouquets in Singapore use white or green filler by default, which produces something perfectly pleasant and entirely forgettable. The purple caspia here is the reason this one photographs with dimension: purple sits close to the opposite of yellow on the colour wheel and deepens pink rather than diluting it, so the palette reads as considered rather than merely pretty.
Best Suited For
- Mother’s Day and birthdays for mothers — carnations carry the association more directly than any other flower
- Birthdays — warm and celebratory without implying romance
- Anniversaries — a gentler alternative to red roses
- Thank-you gifts — safe for colleagues, teachers, clients and friends
- Get well and recovery — soft colours, nothing overpowering
- Congratulations — new jobs, new homes, new arrivals
- Apologies — sincere without the intensity red carries
Bouquet or Basket?
The same palette exists in two formats, and the right one depends on where it’s going:
- This hand bouquet — best for handing over in person, or delivering somewhere the recipient has a vase
- Warm Embrace flower basket — arrives finished with no vase needed, which suits hospital wards, office desks and new-baby deliveries
How to Keep Them Fresh
- Unwrap and trim. Cut 2–3cm off each stem at a 45° angle under running water.
- Use clean, cool water. Change it every two days and rinse the vase each time — bacteria, not thirst, is what kills cut flowers.
- Strip submerged leaves. Anything below the waterline rots and clouds the water.
- Keep away from aircon vents, direct sun and fruit bowls. Ripening fruit releases ethylene gas, which ages flowers quickly.
- Remove spent blooms. Carnations and eustoma outlast roses — pulling faded roses keeps the bouquet looking intentional for several more days.
The caspia dries well. Once the fresh blooms fade, hang the remaining stems upside down in a dry spot and you’ll have a small dried arrangement that lasts months.
