Why the Cordyline

Most red rose bouquets rely entirely on soft filler — baby’s breath, caspia, ferny greens. Cordyline breaks that pattern: its long, strap-shaped leaves give the arrangement genuine architectural structure, framing the roses rather than simply softening around them. It’s a small addition that makes the bouquet read as considered rather than default.

How to Keep Them Fresh

1. Unwrap and trim. Cut 2–3cm off each stem at a 45° angle under running water.
2. Use clean, cool water. Change it every two days and rinse the vase each time.
3. Strip submerged leaves. Anything below the waterline rots and clouds the water.
4. Keep away from aircon vents, direct sun and fruit bowls. Ripening fruit releases ethylene gas, which ages flowers quickly.

Cordyline and caspia both outlast the roses comfortably, and the caspia dries well once the fresh blooms fade.
